What is WorkOfR?
Stories. Films. Performances. Places. Memories. Experiments.
Made in The North.
WorkOfR is an independent creative project built around documenting life rather than letting it disappear.
Spoken word, writing, film, travel, physical objects and audience-led experiments all live under the same roof.
Some things become performances. Some become pages. Some become films, cards or objects.
Others simply preserve a moment that might otherwise have been forgotten.
MANIFESTO
Who's behind it?
WorkOfR is created and run by Ryan Abbey. A writer, performer and collector of memories from Bolton, England.
What began as somewhere to put creative work has grown into something broader: a place to write, perform, document, experiment, travel, make things and occasionally invite other people into the process.
There isn't a team, a studio or a grand creative agency behind it. It's one person, an idea, and an ever-growing collection of things worth making and remembering.
